Beregovski 116 - from a Russian edition of the collections of ethnomusicologist Moshe Beregovski (1892-1961), considered to be the foremost ethnomusicologist of Eastern European Jewry. From 1929-1947 Beregovski made 2,000 field recordings of Jewish music in Ukraine before being arrested and sent to a Soviet gulag prison camp in Siberia for four years. He was released in 1956 and returned to Kiev where he lived the rest of his life.

Botofei Horaja-Sirba lui Got - a pair of Moldavian tunes, the first from Csángó violinist Mandache Aurél who plays the fiddle music of the ethnic Hungarians living in Moldavia. The second is from violinist and ethnomusicologist Constantin Lupu who's work includes the preservation of old Moldavian music as well as old Jewish Music from Moldavia.

Chaban- Belf's Roumanian Orchestra was one of the earliest recorded Klezmer ensembles. The story of V. Belf and his quirky band is shrouded in mystery, but the old recordings say it all.

Belfs Hora - This pleasant tune was released in 1912 under the name Rumnyski Zhok (the Zhok is also known as a Jewish Hora, a circle dance in triple meter)

Koilen- our rendition of a pair of tunes from Roma accordionist Mishka Tsiganoff, a seminal musician of many styles.

Crimson Hora/Lowerbottoms Kolomeyke - Two original tunes, the first a Hora that goes searching for a Waltz, the second a Kolomeyke from West Oakland Composed by Joshua Laurenzi.

Schwartz’ Sirba-Hangu/Freylachs-Szátmári Noták - our instrumental tribute to the immensely influential Budapest based Klezmorim Di Naye Kapelye.

Hora De Mina Din Draguseni - a Jewish hora from Moldavian Violinist Constantin Lupu.

Kolomejkak - a pair of Kolomeykes, the first from the Ukrainska Selska orchestra of the early 20th century, the second taught to us by tsimblist Sean Williams at KlezKanada.

Hora lui Nemteanu-Virágtánc - a set of two tunes, the first an old Moldavian-Jewish fiddle tune, the second a popular song in the Hungarian Csángó tradition.

Moldavian Freylachs - a pair of old Jewish Freylachs from Moldavia.

Hora Boiereasca - a Moldavian-Jewish Hora in Cm.

Yosl's Terkisher - A classic Jewish tune recorded in the early 1900s by Klezmer Tsimbl All-Star Josef Moskowitz. We learned this tune from a recent recording by the Traditional Eastern European Virtuoso Trio/ local Klezmer heroes - Veretski Pass.

Bulgárjászka - A sweet tune from Csángó Violinist Mandache Aurél.

Batraneasca De La Albesti - a source of inspiration for the guitar solos of guitarist Angus Young of AC-DC. Our version comes from Constantin Lupu.

Festeres-Seremoj-Rekecsini Botosánka - a suite of favorite tunes from the Hungarian Csángó Tánchaz scene done in postmodern American style with a fade out, but without the fade out…
